DESCRIPTION:WE Fest is a vibrant celebration the artistic legacy of groundbreaking sculptor William Edmondson\, the first African American to earn a solo exhibit at New York’s Museum of Modern Art in 1937. Once forgotten after his passing in 1951\, Edmondson’s renowned works are now held in major museums throughout the world. WE Fest exists to educate and elevate his memory for new generations of artists.
